Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has expressed serious concern over the mega data leak and alleged manipulation of user information by global internet and social media giants. He has insructed that data sharing should be regulated and servers be located within the country.

Meanwhile, the Cauvery Water war continues, the state is set to observe a day long shut down for the second time in a week over the Cauvery water board not being established.
