Pooja Chavan death case: Maharashtra minister Sanjay Rathod resigns from post

Maharashtra Forest Minister Sanjay Rathod, who has been embroiled in the controversy over Pooja Chavan death case, on Sunday submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

Sanjay Rathod made the announcement after submitting his resignation to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, who is also the president of his Shiv Sena party.

Sanjay Rathod was facing allegations of complicity in the death of 23-year-old Pooja Chavan, a resident of Beed district.
