Pragya Singh Thakur nominated to Rajnath Singh-led defence ministry panel

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has been nominated to the Parliamentary Consultative Committee of the Ministry of Defence. A Congress leader has questioned the government on its decision and called the nomination of the Malegaon blasts accused unfortunate.

The 21-member parliamentary consultative committee is headed by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
