President Kovind posthumously awards Ashok Chakra to J&K Police ASI Babu Ram

President Ram Nath Kovind posthumously awarded Ashok Chakra to Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Babu Ram of the Jammu and Kashmir Police at the Republic Day parade. Babu Ram's widow Rina Rani and son Manik received the award from President Kovind. The posthumous award was given in recognition of his heroic sacrifice during anti-terrorist operation in Kashmir.
