Pro-farm laws farmer unions meet Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar, pledge support

Even as thousands of farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders against the farm laws, some pro-farm laws farmer unions from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Haryana, Telangana and Bihar today met Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and pledged their support to the new laws.

Meanwhile, farmers at Delhi's borders are observing a day-long fast today even as the agitation spread to different parts of the country with peasant unions staging demonstrations at district headquarters.
