Pro-Sharjeel Imam slogans at Mumbai queer march, over 50 people charged for sedition

The Mumbai Police on Monday registered a case against 50-60 people under stringent section like sedition for raising slogans in favor of JNU student Sharjeel Imam at an LGBTQ event. Sharjeel Imam was arrested last week on sedition charges.

Mumbai Police said the organisers of the queer march are not the accused in the case. It was a group of people who didn't follow guidelines and raised such slogans.
