Protests outside Atishi's house over water crisis in Delhi

Amid a severe heatwave, people in Delhi on Thursday staged a protest outside Delhi Minister Atishi's residence over a water crisis. People gathered outside Atishi's house and collectively started throwing pots on the road, symbolising water scarcity in the city.

Atishi, along with minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, chaired an emergency meeting on the issue of water shortage in several parts of the national capital.

All senior officials including the Chief Secretary were present at the meeting.
