A war of words erupted between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over Delhi crime branch notices to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and the party leader Atishi. AAP had earlier claimed that the BJP aims to topple the Kejriwal government in Delhi by poaching seven AAP MLAs. These claims were denied by BJP national president JP Nadda as he termed the AAP claims as "baseless".
Meanwhile, India Today has accessed the notice served to Delhi CM Kejriwal in which the crime branch asked for proof of the poaching claim before February 5 (Monday).
"From your (Arvind Kejriwal) social media post it appears that you have evidence and information related to a cognisable crime. Please submit the information by February 5," the crime branch notice which India Today TV accessed had stated.
