Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met with Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and senior leader Sunil Jakhar on Wednesday to strategize for the Punjab assembly polls due early next year. During the meeting, which lasted about five hours, Rahul Gandhi asked the state leadership - Channi and Sidhu - to "unitedly work for the party and stay focused on the upcoming polls", sources said.
