Rajasthan has formed an eight-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the leaked audio tapes that hint at a conspiracy to topple Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's Congress government. This SIT will be led by CID (Crime Branch) Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikas Sharma and will comprise of personnel from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Special Operations Group (SOG) and Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS).
Other members of the team are Dharmendra Yadav (Additional SP-ATS), Jagdish Vyas (Additional SP-CID CB), Kamal Singh (assistant police commissioner-Jodhpur), Manish Sharma (Deputy SP- ATS), Kailash Jindal (inspector- CID CB), Suman Kaviya (Inspector- ATS) and Ramesh Pareek (inspector-ATS).
This team will be investigating a complaint filed by Congress whip Mahesh Joshi citing a conspiracy to topple the Rajasthan government.
