Rajasthan political crisis: Twist and turns increasing by the day

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot's meeting with the cabinet is underway at his residence. The meeting has been convened to hold discussions on recommendations sent on Monday by the Governor. Sources have said a third request will be sent to the Governor for convening the assembly session. The Governor had raised questions regarding 21 days' notice to be given before an assembly session is convened. He had also raised questions about whether a floor test will be conducted and also how the government plans to ensure social distancing if the Assembly session is convened. The Rajasthan government had accused the Governor Mishra of acting under pressure from the Centre.
