Rakesh Tikait appeals Centre to withdraw farm laws | Exclusive

In an exclusive interview to India Today, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Tikait) leader Rakesh Tikait spoke in details about the Bharat Bandh called by the farmers' union against the Centre's three farm laws on Monday.

Tikait urged Centre to withdraw the farm laws and said: "The bandh is being observed across the country and many have come out in support of the farmers. When there is a bandh, normal lives are sometimes disrupted. But, emergency services should not be affected. When the government had announced complete lockdown for two-three months, many lives were affected. This bandh is only for a day and all emergency services are functioning."
