Reality check in Karnataka: Truth behind private hospitals treatment of Covid-19 cases

Initially, Karnataka was one state states where it seemed that Covid cases were under control, but now the cases are rising, especially in the state capital.

The state Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has made a big admission stating the situation in some districts of Karnataka is slipping out of government's hands.

The confirmed cases in Karnataka have crossed 28,000 with 470 deaths. Bengaluru remains worst hit in the state with more than 12,000 and 500 cases.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government has been claiming that it has arranged ample hospital beds for Covid-19 patients in Bengaluru. So, to find out the reality, India Today visited four hospitals in the city to see if a bed could be made available for a patient whose Covid-19 report is awaited.
