Rift in INDIA bloc as Akhilesh Yadav slams Congress over caste census

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday took a dig at the Congress party over its recent announcement of conducting a caste census in all states under their rule. Yadav, whose party is an ally of the Congress party in the INDIA bloc, said, "It's a miracle that now the Congress party wants a caste census. [It] is now aware that the vote they were searching for is not with them anymore," adding it's the same Congress party that did not share the numbers of the caste census.
