'Rule of corruption, nepotism': Abhijit Gangopadhyay rates Mamata government

Abhijit Gangopadhyay on Tuesday stepped down as judge of Calcutta High Court and hours later announced that he would join the BJP on March 7.

In an interview with India Today, Abhijit Gangopadhyay talked about the BJP's main opposition party in the state, Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress.

When asked to rate the rule in Bengal under Mamata Banerjee's government, Gangopadhyay said, "Rule of corruption, nepotism."

"One problem of these rulers is deliberately making incorrect statements and spreading them," he said.
