Omar Abdullah dragged into Rajasthan row, threatens to sue Bhupesh Baghel over Sachin Pilot-BJP deal jibe

National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Monday said he will pursue legal action against Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel after the latter alleged a BJP "deal" led to the release of Omar Abdullah, who was detained under the PSA. With this, Abdullah has finally broken his silence on the political crisis in Rajasthan involving his brother-in-law Sachin Pilot. Rajasthan Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is Omar Abdullah's brother-in-law and is married to his sister Sara Abdullah Pilot. On Monday, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel in an interview hinted at a potential deal between the BJP and Sachin Pilot that led to the early release of Omar Abdullah.
