Saki Naka rape case cannot be compared with Hathras incident: Shiv Sena

Shiv Sena, in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, on Monday hit out at BJP and said the Saki Naka rape case cannot be compared with the Hathras incident in Uttar Pradesh. "In the Hathras case, the woman was raped and murdered. The accused were saved. The body was cremated to destroy evidence. The Yogi Adityanath government never accepted it was rape," the Shiv Sena said.

Shiv Sena's remark comes a day after the BJP accused the Maharashtra government of not focussing on law and order following the death of the Saki Naka rape victim.
