Anti-CAA stir turns violent in Delhi's Seelampur, thousands face off with police

Violence returned to the capital on Tuesday as protesters pelted policemen with stones in Seelampur. The police were heavily outnumbered, and constant tear gas shelling made breathing difficult. As many as five metro stations -- Seelampur on the Red Line and Welcome, Jaffrabad, and Maujpur-Babarpur on the Pink Line -- have been closed.
