SBI Chief Rajnish Kumar says Public Sector Banks on path of recovery

State Bank of India (SBI) Chairman Rajnish Kumar has vociferously defended the country's favourite whipping boys - public sector banks (PSBs).

In an exclusive interview with India Today, the chief of the country's largest public sector lender spoke about the UPA's credit expansion drive, policy flip-flops and judicial intervention as some of the key reasons for non-performing assets (NPAs) and said that PSBs are on the path of recovery and reform.
