Stray dogs case: Maneka Gandhi appeals to CJI BR Gavai to hear all sides

Menaka Gandhi, an animal rights activist and BJP leader, has appealed to the Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai to hear all sides regarding a recent order on stary dogs. Gandhi expressed hope that the Chief Justice of India would make a decision in view of law. Her appeal follows the Chief Justice of India stating that the matter would be looked into. Gandhi described the order as 'rubbish' and highlighted the resulting violence and demonstrations. She stated, "So now if the Chief Justice of India wants to see this again, then we have a heartfelt desire from him that he should listen to all sides and see the settled law and only then he should correct it."
