Stubble burning incidents in Punjab reach season's peak

Punjab recorded the highest number of farm fires in a day this season with 3,230 incidents on Sunday. The total number of stubble burning incidents in Punjab this season has now reached 17,403, as per data from the Punjab Remote Sensing Centre. November has seen 56 per cent of the total stubble burning incidents this season. Meanwhile, the air quality in major parts of Haryana was categorised as 'very poor' and 'severe'.
