Tamil Nadu: EPS government blocks protest in Chennai over water crisis

Tamil Nadu remained on edge as the state government on Tuesday blocked to hold protest over the excessive water crisis in Chennai.

Sources said cops denied permission to an NGO on Tuesday to hold protest in the state capital.

While defying all odds, the NGO moved Madras High Court seeking permission to organise demonstration over water shortage in Tamil Nadu.
