TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh on Monday launched a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy over the issue of women’s safety in the state, a day after a brutal rape case in Guntur came to light.
Hitting out at the CM on the state of law and order in Andhra Pradesh, Nara Lokesh jibed that the police in the state were busy investigating TDP leaders on trumped-up charges, "while doing nothing about the crimes taking place in their own backyard".
