The moment when gangster Atiq, his brother Ashraf were killed in UP's Prayagraj

Gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were killed in Prayagraj. The duo were killed when three people opened fire at them near a medical college in Prayagraj. Atiq and Ashraf collapsed on the ground soon after they were shot on camera by unidentified assailants in presence of police and media.

All three shooters involved in the killing were nabbed immediately by the UP Police, while a cop sustained minor injuries. The former MP was killed hours after his son Asad Ahmed's last rite.
