Senior Congress leader Amarinder Singh, who stepped down as Chief Minister on Saturday following an escalation in the political crisis in the state stemming from a bitter tussle with rival Navjot Singh Sidhu, said that there is always an option in politics.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Captain Amarinder Singh said that he has devoted 52 years of his life to Punjab politics and that he is pleased with the work he has done as Punjab Chief Minister over the last nine and a half years.
