US stands with India in its efforts to defend sovereignty: Mike Pompeo

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said the US stands with India in its efforts to defend its sovereignty and liberty.

Mike Pompeo cited the killing of Indian Army personnel in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh and asserted that both India and the US are taking steps to strengthen cooperation against all threats, and not just those posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). "We stand with India in its efforts to defend its sovereignty and its liberty," Mike Pompeo said in New Delhi.
