Uttar Pradesh: Kasganj district simmers with fresh arson, vandalism

A day after one person died in violent clashes between two groups in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj following instances of stone pelting in a motorcycle rally, a fresh skirmish was reported from the area.

A 16-year-old boy was killed and two persons were injured in a conflict that engulfed Kasganj during a
Tiranga rally taken out by VHP and ABVP volunteers on Republic Day.

To avoid further tension, senior police officials were deployed in the area and Section 144 continued to be imposed.
