Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Jasmine Shah was caught on camera having a heated confrontation with officials of the Delhi Police Crime Branch outside Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence. The officials left the property after five hours.
A Delhi Police's Crime Branch team visited Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Saturday morning and Friday evening to serve a notice in connection with his allegations that the BJP was trying to poach AAP MLAs. The Crime Branch officials, as seen in visuals, stood firm that they were required to hand over the consignment to the chief minister personally and nobody else, not even his office.
To this, the AAP leader questioned them about the laws and the provisions which call for such a procedure. Jasmine Shah, in the video, can be heard saying that "all this is a mere nautanki (sham)" and that "PM Modi and Amit Shah" should focus on bigger and graver issues than sending "repeated notices" to the chief minister.
