Watch: PM Modi announces 21-day national lockdown from midnight

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today announced a nationwide lockdown from midnight for the next 21 days to contain the surge of coronavirus cases.

Announcing a nationwide lockdown PM Modi said, "From midnight, entire India will go under lockdown. This is like a curfew...this is more advanced than Janta Curfew...it is stricter than Janta Curfew."
