Watch: Youth being misguided by rumours on CAA, says PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited Belur Math in Bengal and once again tried to defuse the fears over Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

Speaking at a rally in Belur Math on the outskirts of Kolkata, PM Modi said: "Why is CAA so important and the youth wants to know. Many rumours are going around and our young generation is being fed lies and misconceptions. We have to answer them with correct information and so I appeal to people from Northeast and Bengal that it is not that we are giving citizenship and have made a law on it overnight."
