Watch: Senior West Bengal cop slaps journalist covering Barrackpore violence

A West Bengal cop was caught on camera assaulting a journalist who was covering the violence in Barrackpore on Sunday.

DCP Barrackpore Ajay Thakur was seen slapping a journalist on Sunday when clashes broke out between BJP and TMC workers on September 1.

Arjun Singh, BJP MP from Barrackpore constituency, suffered head injuries allegedly during the clash.

Arjun Singh had alleged that the TMC cadres as well as the Bengal police attacked him.
