"The order is nothing new. This was said earlier as well that government could monitor your internet communications. They can monitor your call record. Why were you doing something that they deem to be suspicious? And it is not as if it is a blanket order"

The Congress and other opposition parties have slammed the Narendra Modi government for its order under which it has authoritised 10 police and intelligence agencies to monitor phones of individuals.
