Will demolish domes of state secretariat if BJP comes to power in Telangana: BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar

Ahead of the Telangana assembly polls, state BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has triggered a massive controversy as he said that if BJP comes to power, it would demolish domes of the newly-built state secretariat that reflect the culture of the Nizams. 

"If we are voted to power, we shall destroy the cultural symbols of the Nizam in Telangana, including the domes of the newly-built secretariat. We shall make suitable changes that reflect the Indian and Telangana culture," he said, adding that chief minister KCR had converted the peoples' secretariat into a samadhi like the Taj Mahal only to appease the Owaisis.
