Wrestlers to suspend protest till June 15 after meeting with sports minister

After attending the hours-long meeting with Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, protesting wrestlers said that the government has assured them to give the status of investigation by June 15. Wrestlers have said that they would hold protest until June 15.

These wrestlers were invited by the government for the second time days after they met Home Minister Amit Shah.

During the meeting, wrestlers were assured that the police investigation will be completed by June 15. According to sources, government has also assured that the cases registered against wrestlers will be withdrawn.
