While debating in the Lok Sabha over the triple talaq bill, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi slammed the government of "misguiding" people in the name of the Supreme Court.
He said that if the government is so concerned about women, "they must put food on their table and provide them shelter".
Attacking MJ Akbar over the Me Too allegations against him, Owaisi said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) should have expelled him but the party sheltered him instead .
