Youth Congress members protest outside Nitin Gadkari's residence over new traffic fines

Protesting against the steep hike in traffic fines, Youth Congress members today held a dharna outside the house of Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in Delhi. They brought scooters with them to protest site and there were reports that they even threw scooters on the police personnel.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, Gujarat government reduced the fines under the new Motor Vehicles Act.
