WHY SOME STUDENTS SKIPPED CAMPUS JOBS
The institute clarified that not all registered students participated in placements.
According to the report, several students opted for entrepreneurship, higher studies, postdoctoral fellowships and research opportunities instead of corporate jobs.
This trend was especially visible among PhD scholars, whose placement numbers have steadily declined over the past three years as more researchers choose academic and specialised research careers over traditional campus recruitment.
