Congress's Rajeev Gowda vs BJP's Sadanand Gowda in discussion on violence in Karnataka

The penultimate session of the Karnataka Panchayat 2018 focused on the political violence in Karnataka.

Taking part were Rajeev Gowda, Rajya Sabha member and Congress spokesperson and BJP's DV Sadanand Gowda, Union Minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

As expected both the panelists toed their party line.

Commenting on the present violence and the political murders in Karnataka, Sadanand Gowda said that peace prevailed only in Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled states.

Quick to retort Rajeev Gowda accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of instigating violence between communities to come to power. And once in power, violence stopped.
