Madhya Pradesh Women and Child Development Minister Archana Chitnis today said that anemia is major problem among the youth particularly among women and children.
Speaking at India Today Mind Rocks Youth Summit 2017 at Bhopal, Chitnis said, "Large population suffers from hemoglobin and iron deficiency which leads to anemia."
Underlining the youth is more interested in good looks ignoring the good eating habits, Archana Chitnis said, "If you are anemic, fair and lovely will not work on your skin."
Giving examples from her own experience, Chitnis said, "During one of the inspection tours in a Madhya Pradesh district, I found that the collector was anemic."
