Laal Singh Chaddha trends on Twitter. Here is why

The trailer of Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor's upcoming film, Laal Singh Chaddha, finally released on May 29 during the IPL 2022 finale. The film is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 11, 2022. Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Eric Roth and Atul Kulkarni, Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the most anticipated films of the year. However, netizens stand divided after watching the trailer. While some lauded it, others had not-so-good things to say about the trailer.

Since yesterday, 'Boycott Laal Singh Chaddha' has been trending on Twitter. Social media users have numerous reasons for boycotting the film, which include nepotism, patriotism, and whatnot. Moreover, netizens are also furious about watching a ‘copied’ film, when the original masterpiece, Forrest Gump, is available on OTT. Another section of movie buffs, however, loved the trailer and have been praising both Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan for their performances.

Many trolls dug out Aamir Khan's old statements that brewed controversy.
