The video was originally recorded during an earlier interaction between Ranveer and Sadhguru and has now been reshared by the spiritual leader's official Instagram page, leading many online to assume it was linked to the actor’s present situation.
In the video, Ranveer is seen telling Sadhguru that social media users overwhelmingly wanted him to ask one question: "What is the purpose of life?"
"Yesterday I put a tweet out saying I am meeting Sadhguru ji tomorrow. What should I ask him? And 80 per cent was, what is the purpose of life?" the actor says in the clip. Sadhguru responds with a philosophical answer, saying life exists beyond "logical calculations" of purpose or utility. "There is no purpose. Life is a bigger phenomenon than your intellect," he tells the actor.
Because the clip resurfaced at a time when Ranveer is facing intense industry scrutiny, many social media users interpreted the interaction as the actor seeking spiritual guidance amid the current controversy. However, there is no evidence that the video was recorded after the recent developments around Don 3.
