Mango Pachcha trailer: Kichcha Sudeep's nephew Sanchith debuts in gritty crime drama
The trailer of Kichcha Sudeep's nephew, Sanchith Sanjeev's debut film Mango Pachcha, is out and presents a world filled with crime, narcotics, and gore, promising a thrilling ride through Mysuru's darker side in the early 2000s.

The trailer of Kannada film Mango Pachcha was unveiled on May 25 at Mysuru’s Sangam Theatre, offering a glimpse into a gritty world shaped by crime, narcotics and violence. Directed by Viveka, the film has drawn attention as the acting debut of Kichcha Sudeep’s nephew, Sanchith Sanjeev, who stars opposite Kajal Kundar. The film is slated for a theatrical release on June 5.
The trailer opens with news reports of a major drug bust by Mysuru police involving 500 kg of cannabis, before shifting focus to the world of Mango Pachcha, also known as Prashanth, played by Sanchith Sanjeev. Introducing his girlfriend, mother, brother and friends as his family and greatest strength, the character’s personal world soon gives way to a darker, more violent reality. The trailer gradually picks up pace and hints at an action-packed narrative driven by gang rivalries, crime and underlying political motivations.
Mango Pachcha is finally set to arrive in theatres in the first week of June after multiple release changes. The film was initially scheduled for a festive Sankranthi release in January but was later postponed. Following the announcement of Yash’s Toxic shifting from its June 4 release date, Mango Pachcha confirmed its theatrical arrival on June 5.
Promotions for the film are currently underway, with debutant Sanchith Sanjeev opting for on-ground outreach by visiting several districts across Karnataka and interacting with audiences directly, instead of relying solely on social media campaigns. The trailer launch in Mysuru — the city where the film is set — also appears to be part of the makers’ grassroots promotional strategy.
