Vijay Deverakonda announces his next film with Hi Nanna director Shouryuv
Vijay Deverakonda has announced his next ambitious film, VDxShouryuv, collaborating with director Shouryuv. Shouryuv is best known for his hit Hi Nanna, with actors Nani and Mrunal Thakur.

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has announced his next film, tentatively titled VDxShouryuv, in collaboration with Shouryuv, best known for Hi Nanna. The actor shared the announcement on Instagram on Saturday, introducing the project’s core team.
In his post, Vijay described the film as a challenging venture backed by a global crew. “Introducing the team taking on the scary task of making this intimidating film So happy to have this firecracker global team working on this one with Shouryuv on his wild imagination and intense heart. ROAR my friends. I will give you my all (sic),” he wrote.
The announcement poster features Vijay Deverakonda at the centre, highlighting the film’s global collaboration. The project is expected to explore a mythological narrative with an international scale of production.

The film brings together an international technical team, including cinematographer Alejandro Martnez, known for his work on House of the Dragon, and a VFX team associated with films such as Snowpiercer and Batman Forever. Music will be composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who previously worked on Hi Nanna and Hridayam.
VDxShouryuv also marks a new phase in Vijay’s career. The actor, known for films like Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam, is now moving towards larger, globally mounted projects. Shouryuv, meanwhile, continues to build on the success of his directorial debut with this ambitious outing.
The technical team includes Emmy-winning VFX supervisor Eric Durst, editor Praveen Antony, production designer Suresh Selvarajan, and costume designer Sachin Lovalekar.
Meanwhile, Vijay is also working on Ranabaali, a historical action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. Set between 1854 and 1878, the film, also starring his actor-wife Rashmika Mandanna, explores resistance against colonial rule during the Great Indian Famine. Vijay plays a freedom fighter, while Mandanna stars as his wife. Hollywood actor Arnold Vosloo plays the antagonist.
