Nani reveals he wouldn't have produced Adivi Sesh's Dacoit. Here's why
Actor Nani, in a promotional interview with Adivi Sesh, praised his recent film Dacoit, calling it better than his films Major and Goodachari.

Adivi Sesh’s recent release Dacoit, which hit theatres on April 10, 2026, is witnessing a steady run at the box office while also receiving appreciation from members of the film industry. Among those who have praised the film is actor Nani, who shared his thoughts during a promotional interaction with Sesh.
Speaking about the film, Nani said he found Dacoit more engaging than Sesh’s earlier works like Major and Goodachari. He explained that Major, being based on a real-life hero, naturally carries emotional weight, while Goodachari follows a familiar global spy film template. In contrast, he described Dacoit as a more original and risky attempt.
He further added, “I don’t think I would produce a film like this. When you first told me the line, I thought you were taking a big risk. But when I saw it on screen, I wondered how you managed to present it this beautifully.”
Nani and Adivi Sesh have collaborated earlier in the HIT franchise, which is produced by Nani, with Sesh leading the second instalment and Nani headlining the third, where Sesh also made an important cameo, marking their on-screen association.
Meanwhile, Directed by Shaneil Deo, Dacoit is a romantic thriller starring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, with Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, and Atul Kulkarni in key roles.
Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda under SS Creations and Suniel Narang Production, the film is released in Telugu and Hindi. It explores the story of a man driven by anger and betrayal, seeking revenge on his former partner, while navigating intense emotional conflict.
