Sridevi no more: Boney Kapoor and family still awaiting clearance from Dubai Public Prosecution

It's being three days since Sridevi's death in Dubai, and her mortal remains are yet to arrive in Mumbai. The 54-year-old actress was in Dubai to attend nephew Mohit Marwah's wedding. But four days after the big day, she was found dead in her hotel room's bathtub.

On Monday afternoon, her death certificate was released which revealed accidental drowning as the cause of death. But Dubai Police has now transferred the case to the Dubai Public Prosecution. According to the latest updates, officials from the Consulate General of India in Dubai and Sridevi's family members are still waiting for a clearance from the Dubai Public Prosecution. Boney's son Arjun Kapoor has reached Dubai to be with his father in this testing time.

Sridevi's previous medical reports are being checked, and if reports are to be believed, DPP is reconstructing the seuqence of events. And depending on the results, it will be decided if a no objection certificate will be issued or not.
