With heavy rainfall and seawater gushing into the coastal areas, cyclone Yaas has left a trail of destruction in Odisha and West Bengal.

With 24X7 cyclone monitoring team established, flyovers were shut and barricades were installed. But, the high tides breached the embankments at several places.
