Allegations of the bodies of hundreds of women who were raped and murdered over the years being buried in the popular pilgrimage town of Dharmasthala in Karnataka have shocked people. A former sanitation worker on the payroll of the temple administration from 1995 to 2014 claims he buried and burned the bodies of victims under coercion from immensely influential people. He has now dug up some of the skeletons.
