Person of Interest: The rise and fall of LK Advani

History will probably remember LK Advani as the 'forever been waiting prime minister' or perhaps history will remember him as the man who had to face trial for his role in the 1992 demolition of Babri Masjid.

The outcome of that is still in the future.

On 19th of April 2017, the Supreme Court gave a verdict restoring the criminal conspiracy charges against him in the Babri mosque demolition case.

This theoretically ensures that LK Advani cannot be the next president of India.
