Is India prepared to curb muted virus?

Airports across India have gone into high alert mode after a new, 70% more transmissible strain of coronavirus was discovered in the UK. Retd Dr Mohan Gupte, founder director of Chennai's ICMR Epidemiology Dept. says though it is difficult to say anything at the moment, this new strain of virus will have a lesser transmission rate when it comes to India.
