Rahul Gandhi's swipe at PM Modi in Lok Sabha triggers uproar, Rajnath seeks apology

During a Lok Sabha debate on the Delimitation Bill, the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi sparked an uproar by comparing the Prime Minister to a magician whose tactics have been exposed. Union Ministers condemned the remarks as unparliamentary, demanding an apology. The opposition characterises the legislation as a panic reaction to alter the electoral map under the guise of a women's quota. Concurrently, the Lucknow bench of the High Court ordered an FIR against Rahul Gandhi regarding a dual citizenship case following a petition by Vignesh Shishir. BJP president chaired strategy meetings as the opposition demanded the immediate implementation of a 33 percent women's reservation within the existing 543 seats.
